A bit about me!

Hi, my name is Nathan Fanton, and I am therapist here in Boston. As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to give you the following message: You matter, you are valued, and your life holds significance in this space.

I am a Veteran, a member of the LGBT community, and I have been well prepared in my education and clinical training to help you. I earned my Bachelors from the University of Rochester, and later went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan University. I have worked for multiple large hospital systems as a therapist, both here in Massachusetts and in New York State before coming to Boston Psychotherapy & Counseling Services.

I am aware of the struggles that many people experience, and I understand that you may be going through some challenges that you have never discussed with anyone before. These problems may seem too overwhelming to articulate, and you may be afraid of what they say about you as a parent, partner, or individual, and what impact they may have on you or your family.

I get how isolating this situation can feel and you do not have to face it alone. I am here to help you or your family realize your inherent strengths and value so that you can your best life.

My approach to therapy is the same way that I would want to receive it as a client:
